So I am taking a quick run south to Memphis to assist a fellow ham in
gathering some equipment and scoping out a few tower sites that he may
be assisting in dropping in the near future.
We were intending on
getting out about 2000 CDT, but new ventures being what they are, we
left at 2205 instead. I could not have asked for a better night driving.
It was moderately cool and a little humid. Not a whole lot happened on
the way down. We talked about radios, guide masts and listened to a
little coast to coast out of San Antonio. More tomorrow.
